Biomechanics, Gait analysis

 

Michael completed his Bachelor of Podiatry at La Trobe University in 2009. Prior to completing his Podiatry degree Michael completed 2 years of Human movement/ Exercise Science at Victoria University and has a Diploma in Health Science (Massage) at the Australian College of Sports Therapy.

Michael has a keen interest in biomechanics and gait analysis. Being very active himself and loving most sports he also enjoys treating sports injuries. During his studies and working in a variety of clinics he enjoys all aspects of Podiatry including treating; sports injuries (heel and arch pain, forefoot pain, ankle pain and Achilles injuries; Diabetes foot health management (maintaining good blood circulation and nerve supply and preventing complications associated with having diabetes); General foot care (ingrown and discoloured nails, callous and corn removal); kids feet (footwear, in toeing, painful flat feet, severs disease); and footwear advise for all occasions.

Outside of being a Podiatrist, Michael enjoys keeping fit and active by swimming. He also enjoys going to the football, movies and the beach.
